The Royal Navy Officers’ Charity was delighted to win Charity of the Year (up to £1m income) at the Association of Charitable Organisations Conference (ACO) on Thursday 22 September, which was attended by a large number of national charities.
This is a hugely important mark of recognition of the RNOC’s wide-ranging benevolence work and impact across the naval officer family. Thank you to ACO and to all members for their continued support of the charity.
Founded in 1739 the Charity supports a diverse range of beneficiaries and in 2021 awarded individual grants in excess of £500k.
The RNOC supports serving and retired RN, RM, QARNNS, and former WRNS officers and their families.
Every application is considered on its merits and recent grants have included assistance with medical expenses, school and education fees, assistance with transition and retraining, white and brown goods replacement, debts and much more.
For further information of the RNOC’s work and impact see www.rnoc.org.uk. Don’t hesitate to get in touch should you need any assistance.
