Our post budget financial planning insight reception was a great success.  ARNO Council member and RNOC Trustee, Sam Williams, welcomed everyone and gave a short update on the RNOC, before introducing Tim Gamester, the Head of Inheritance Protection from Biscoes Solicitors, and Wayne Griffiths, the Managing Director of One Financial Solutions, who gave an extremely informative, and for many members, quite illuminating presentation on Inheritance Tax Planning.  The basic IHT allowances, changes to Business Property and Agricultural Property Relief as well as Lifetime Gifting were covered by Tim, before Wayne covered some of the solutions to mitigate IHT liability (Gifting, Spending, Equity Release, Business Property Relief, and purchasing an insurance policy).There were a number of questions from the floor before guests enjoyed a marvellous buffet and drinks.
