Trustee Commander Graham Hockley appointed Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order

ARNO Trustee Commander Graham Hockley RN has been appointed a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order (LVO) in the New Years Honours List 2020 in recognition of a decade’s distinguished service. Commander Hockley is one of several maritime names, including members of ARNO, to be recognised in the 2020 list.

Following a 28-year career as a Royal Navy Engineer Officer in ships, training establishments, procurement and the MoD, Graham was appointed Director of the Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology. He joined Trinity House in 2009 as Secretary to the Corporation; in that role he oversaw a number of activities for which the Court, Corporate Board and Corporate Department are responsible, including co-ordinating the governance of the Corporation and liaising with HRH The Master’s office, as well as managing the Corporate Department. He retired in November 2019.

The Royal Victorian Order is given by HM The Queen to people who have served her or the Monarchy in a personal way.
