Commander Eunice Marland Wins Prestigious Award

Many congratulations to Commander Eunice Marland Royal Navy, ARNO Deputy Chair and RNOC Trustee, who has won the accolade of Outstanding Employed Barrister in the Armed Services in the Bar Council Employed Bar Awards 2020.  Winners were announced online on Wednesday 10 June.

Eunice joined the Royal Navy as a direct entry graduate in 2000 after four active years in her University Royal Naval Unit. As well as serving at sea as a Logistics Officer, she is a trained Naval Barrister and is currently the Navy’s employment law adviser in NCHQ. Eunice has been actively involved with ARNO/RNOC for more than five years.

Showcasing a wealth of talent, the awards celebrate the vital contributions that employed barristers make across the legal profession and were judged by senior members of the profession and judiciary. Full details of all winners here.

This year’s awards were presented for high quality legal advice and an outstanding contribution by employed barristers to the work of their organisations in a range of sectors.  The best practitioners from across the whole employed bar for Legal Team of the Year were also recognised, as well as the overall winner of Employed Barrister of the Year.
